Give It Back To The Patients
- I've seen reports that Health Insurance costs up to $30000/yr in premiums. At that rate, we can give everyone in the USA a $5000 medical savings account, let them decide how to spend it AND provide them with a catastrohpic insurance plan, and still have money left over. Imagine that. Letting the people decide their own health care.

Reform?
- I wouldn't reform Health Care. It's not a right or a priveledge! I would enforce the existing laws on the books and allow competition across state borders. That's it. Any entitlement from the government cost people money. I don't know where people get the idea the government can provide anything free! There is no FREE! It will still cost all of you money! Even and especially the poor! It is a charade to take control over every aspect of peoples lives. I don't get the cluelessness of the American people. CAn't grasp the concept of goods and services.

Health care reform
- 47 million people from this country do not have heath care insurance. Insurance companies are allowed to cap insurance coverage. They are allowed to not cover people who have preexisting conditions. We do not have an adequate safety net for people that have lost their jobs or who will lose their jobs. The best solution to the problem would be universal health care. The next best solution would be a public option. If the congress doesn't seem able of pass these plans, we should immediately pass the plan that President Obama is proposing. Funding for these plans should come from a combination of prememuns that would be collected from those thatcould pay for there insurance. The rest should come from those earning more then 250,000 dollars or more. It is my understanding that the top 5% of the wage earners have at least 90% of the wealth. Under the plan that I am sugestting the rich would remain rich. In addition their would be more equity in the system. Plan would reduce national debt

Healthcare costs in CA
- The question is, 'How would I reform Health care?" Not once is the impact of illegal immigration mentioned in this article. It is extremely costly to California residents. Most of which don't have a clue. Hospital waiting rooms and emergency rooms are filled with illegals receiving free care. Non-reimbursement gets channeled back to the people who are insured. We need to reform immigration as well.....

health care
- We need tort reform first. Then the insurance market needs to open up so that people can cross state lines to shop for insurance. Health insurance should not be for routine doctor visits but for serious medical conditions or accidents much the way car insurance works. Government should stay out of the healthcare business.
