It's been twof weeks since the disappointing loss by Mitt Romney to President Obama, and the administration is already hoping for the elimination of the debt ceiling. From CNS News:
"It would have been time a long time ago to eliminate [the debt ceiling]. The sooner the better."
The government has been burning through borrowed cash at record pace since Obama's election, and the US deficit has surpassed $16 trillion. Of course, when Obama ran for President in 2008, he called President Bush's $4 Trillion of added debt over 8 years "unpatriotic." Obama easily surpassed that in his first term, and by the end of his second will be close to tripling that increase.
