In sports, you can almost always tell who is winning and who is losing by watching the expression on the players' faces. The winners are probably pumping fists in the air, walking with that little extra bit of confidence, making difficult moves seem effortless, and looking decidedly focused and energized. The losers toss their gear in the air, argue with referees, sigh, and go for desperate shots to try and score a point somewhere... anywhere. Watching the two presidential candidates as we head into the final days of the campaign is like watching such a sports match-up. One candidate is playing like he is winning, and the other looks like he knows it is over.
