A new internal poll shows that Mia B. Love is leading longtime congressional Democrat Jim Matheson 51-38%. Now, it is an internal poll, but the same pollster found a near opposite result for the candidates back in July. Given the conservative lean of the district, the fact that roughly 2/3 of the electorate is new to Matheson, and Love's nationwide attention, the lead is definitely not out of the realm of possibility.
