Ummmmm… seems to me there are better ways to provide underwater habitat. Beautiful photo, though!
I’m all for offshore drilling and this just adds a bonus to it! They’re always dumping old things like subway cars and ships in order to make offshore reefs, so why not just set up drilling stations and kill 2 birds with one stone? Great photo!
What a beautiful image! Thanks for sharing it with us.
Interesting, and very educational thanks! I’m happy sea life is able to benefit from our need!
Interesting and educational, Thanks.
I happy that sealife is able to benefit from our oil needs!!!
Some gr3at phtography!
This hardly justifies drilling in our oceans for what will amount to all of 8 years of oil. Until we stop this constant push for more drilling and more oil, we will never get serious about alternative energies.
I don’t think “benefits” and “offshore drilling” go together. When you find yourself in a hole, quit digging. Fuel efficiency and alternative energy are there for the taking if we just start loosening the grip of the oil cartel. For example, every home in Reno is powered by a geothermal plant on the edge of town. The lights in my house turn on just fine; no oil required.
The words “benefits” and “offshore drilling” don’t go together. You want benefits, try conservation, fuel efficiency, and alternative energy. We’ll get benefits when we break the grip of the oil cartel. Geothermal energy powers every home in Reno. The lights in my house work just fine; no oil required.
Its a shame that when confronted with facts that some still continue with there same mind set.
